Original Story:
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is warning people living in the Arlington area not to approach a felony suspect who is possibly armed. Just before Noon, JSO tweeted a description of a black male, about 5’8’’ and 175 lbs., wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with black sleeves and black pants.
The specific area of focus is Carlotta Drive in the Arlingwood neighborhood. Police did not say what the felony suspect is accused of, but there were reports of a shooting in the area late this morning and a reporter saw what appeared to be a body under a sheet at a strip mall parking off Merrill and Rogero.
Witnesses told Action News Jax Elizabeth Pace that a person was shot at Express Employment Professionals.
Police urged the community to stay aware of their surroundings and call 904-630-0500 if you observe the suspect.
