The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for an escaped inmate who was last seen Thursday afternoon.
Gary Thigpen, 23, walked off from the Jacksonville Fairgrounds where he was working as a trustee. He was reported missing at 4:22 p.m., according to police.
Thigpen is described as a white male, 5'1" and 135 lbs. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt, blue pants and black shoes.
