JSO releases new suspect information, months after Popeye's shooting

Jacksonville, FL — More than two months after a shooting at a Jacksonville Popeye's, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is releasing new information.

According to JSO, an unknown suspect was upset about his food order, so he entered the Popeye's at 656 Edgewood Avenue North, attacked an employee, and then shot the victim.

The suspect fled the area in an older, dark-colored pickup truck, possibly a Ford F-150. Police say the truck possibly has a dent on the hood, with a chrome front and rear bumper. There's also a black toolbox mounted to the bed of the truck.
