JSO looking for car involved in deadly hit and run

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — On Wednesday, around 6:50 a.m., patrol officers responded to a hit and run in the area of 9300 Crystal Springs Road.

Lindsay Brown, a pastor at New Life Evangelistic Center, was hit. He later died at the hospital. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office have identified the vehicle involved as a 1999 or 2000 light colored Mitsubishi Montero Sport. The vehicle is believed to have moderate front-end damage. The pictured vehicle is similar to the vehicle involved in this traffic crash.
