JSO investigates suspicious death on Westside after man found dead in street

The body of a man was founding lying in the street Friday morning on the Westside.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to Greek Road, near the Normandy Athletic Association, around 7 a.m. and found 34-year-old Desmond Jacobs dead in the street.

JSO is calling the death suspicious. Police tell us they are still working to determine how he died. The investigation is ongoing.
