JACKSONVILLE, Fla, — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office District 3 Patrol Officer Tanner May was recently named Officer of the Month for his involvement in a theft investigation.
According to a social media post, Officer May apprehended multiple people who had been stealing from Bath & Body Works stores.

The suspects were taking thousands of dollars in merchandise every day, according to JSO.
According to the video JSO posted, Officer May investigated a theft incident in mid-March. This investigation revealed the larger issue of more groups stealing from Bath & Body Works stores.
“Officer May demonstrated exceptional dedication to his duties. Not only did he manage a complex criminal investigation with precision and attention to detail, but he also maintained his regular patrol responsibilities,” Police Lieutenant Michael Hensley said.
