JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has arrested two teens connected to a double murder case.

Joseph Vashawn Mixson, 17, and Andrew Alonzo Robinson, 19, have been arrested as part of a June 2024 double murder of fellow teens Travaris Odol and Staley Merriweather.
The victims were found with multiple gunshot wounds at the Island Pointe apartment complex, both had died at the scene.

Both Mixson and Robinson have been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
