Jacksonville, FL — The search for the fifth suspect in connection to the fatal shooting of 7-year-old Heidy Rivas Villanueva on Jacksonville's Westside has now come to an end.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announcing the arrest of Edward Garcia, Wednesday evening. Police say he was finally tracked down in the 6900 block of Morse Avenue on the Westside.
We’re told Garcia has now been charged with accessory after the fact.
WOKV told you on Tuesday, that an arrest report for Garcia's mom-- Kezia Holmes-- revealed Garcia was being sought by police, for allegedly picking up two of the other suspects involved and getting caught in the gunfire while driving Holmes' vehicle. Holmes was arrested for allegedly tampering with evidence in the case, after JSO says she replaced the car's windshield in what they say was an attempt to hide.
