Luckily, nobody was inside when a building off the Arlington Expressway caught fire today, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
JFRD says crews responded to the building in the 7900 block of Arlington Expressway, which is south of the expressway between Arlington Road and the Southside Connector, but it was quickly downgraded after a sweep of the building.
Search and rescue efforts revealed the building was clear, according to JFRD, and no injuries have been reported.
