JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Finally, something worth putting your book down for!
Authors and readers from around the country will gather at James Weldon Johnson Park on Saturday, January 25th for the JAX Urban Book Festival.
This will be the 2nd year of the free annual literature and culture celebration. It was founded by local author Dr. V Brooks Dunbar and the non-profit organization DREAMWEEK INC to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the authors behind your favorite and soon-to-be-favorite books - or even get closer to becoming one yourself.

There will be meet-and-greets, book signings and aspiring author masterclasses throughout the day, beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m.
Bring the kids -- every child in attendance will get a free book to further their reading journey.
