Jacksonville, FL — With restaurants across Florida closed for the foreseeable future, the JAX Chamber is encouraging you to order dinner from your favorite local restaurant as part of #TakeoutTuesday.
“Let’s make sure we can help where we can and that’s why we think Takeout Tuesday could be a big success”, said JAX Chamber President Daniel Davis.
He said the new executive order that limits hotel guests in Jacksonville to only essential travelers will take a toll on the hospitality industry. Davis said that while the area will see rough economic waters for a while, Jacksonville will recover.
Support your favorite restaurant and join us tomorrow for #TakeoutTuesday. Snap a photo tomorrow and share what you're taking out. #ilovejax pic.twitter.com/wwlZrhs54u
