Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens kicking off 33rd annual ‘Spooktacular’ on Friday

The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is kicking off its 33rd annual ‘Spooktacular’ on Friday.

Every night between October 23rd through October 31st, the zoo will be have Halloween-themed festivities. Children and adults are encouraged to dress-up and enjoy the decorations.

The zoo says the Great Lawn will feature a maze, ghost stories will be told in the Range of the Jaguar, and Dinosauria will open for guests to walk through.

In terms of COVID-19 safety measures, the zoo says there will be one-way directional route through the event with hand-washing and sanitizing stations available. Additionally, groups will be limited to 10 people or less and transactions will be cashless.

If you want to go, tickets are available online only. It’s $12 for members and $15 for non-members. Children 2-years-old and under are free.
