Jacksonville Police investigating suspicious death on Northside

Jacksonville, Fl. — Investigators with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office are working to figure out how a 30-year-old man died in his unit at the Waters Edge Apartment on Thursday.

Police say the family wanted a wellness check on the victim and a maintenance worker opened the door and the found the man dead. JSO say if the man was hurt in any type of way and it’s unclear if he lived alone at this time. Police do suspect foul play.

The victim’s car is also missing. JSO is searching for a dark blue or green 2006 Chevrolet Impala with Florida tag EWXM16.
