Jacksonville, FL — It's a big day for our local law enforcement.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has announced two arrests in two different murder cases.
In the first case, Richard Green, 21, was shot and killed at the Monaco Drive Apartment Complex on July 9th.
Police believe it was a drug deal gone wrong, with Patrick Steadman, 19, allegedly trying to rob Green and eventually shooting him.
Officers tell us this shooting is still an active case.
The second arrest involves a suspect police have been looking for since June.
Anthony Finch, 22, was arrested for a shooting back on June 4th on Flynn Court in Golfair.
Finch is accused of shooting Kenard Henley, 22, after a game involving dice.
Witnesses told police Finch was upset because he was losing money to the victim, so he pointed a pistol at Henley and shot him in the back as he was leaving.
Finch is now charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
