The return of the indictment was announced on Friday.

According to a news release, court documents reveal that Simonca was caught while an undercover FBI agent was conducting an undercover operation in Jacksonville. The agent was trying to identify adults “attempting to entice a minor child to engage in sexual activity.”

The agent posed as the parent of an 11-year-old child and posted on a public chatroom of a specific app. A user, later identified at Simonca, contacted the agent about seeing the 11-year-old.
