Jacksonville Jaguars request to interview Steve Spagnuolo for head coach position

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two days after the Jacksonville Jaguars shared a list of candidates it has requested to interview for its head coaching job, the team added another one to the list.
The team posted on its Head Coach Tracker on Thursday morning that it has requested to interview Steve Spagnuolo.
Spagnuolo is currently serving as the defensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs. The New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders have also requested interviews with Flores, according to reports.
The Vikings have a 15-2 record and could face the Los Angeles Chargers, Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers, or Denver Broncos in the divisional round after Wild Card Weekend ends Sunday.
The Jacksonville Jaguars first shared a list of head coaching candidates the team has requested to interview on Tuesday morning.
The firing of Head Coach Doug Pederson was announced Monday morning and Jaguars owner Shad Khan decided to retain Trent Baalke as general manager to help with the coach search.
Here are the other candidates the Jags have requested to interview so far:
Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores (interviews also requested by the New York Jets and Chicago Bears)
Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn (interviews also requested by the Jets, New Orleans Saints, and Bears)
Buccaneers offensive coordinator Liam Coen (Jaguars are the only team to request an interview so far)
Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson (interviews also requested by New England Patriots, and Bears)
Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore (Saints have also requested an interview)
