JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department Lieutenant Brannon Blom died on Wednesday night because of a car crash.

According to a Jacksonville Firefighters Death Benefit Fund, Inc. social media post, it was a single-vehicle crash in Baker County.
Blom was assigned to Ladder Company 10, A-shift. He was also a Jacksonville Firefighters Death Benefit Fund member.
Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
