The Jacksonville Beach City Council gave final approval to a plan to expand sidewalk dining on Monday evening.

The vote was unanimous to allow restaurants to apply for a sidewalk dining permit.
They do have to be located on the avenues between Second and Sixth Avenue North and between First and Second Street.
The city did a test program with sidewalk dining at Jekyll Brewing and the Oaxaca Club.
