The closure of the Mathews bridge has a local hotel manager concerned about how long the repairs will take.
Jim Norris is the property manager at Travel Inn and he tells WOKV news he's seen a decline in hotel guests ever since the bridge closed. His hotel is located right off Arlington Exressway. He says customers tell him the property is simply too inconvenient to get to.
"Right at 27 percent of guests we would normally have....are going somewhere else."
He says everyday his business is losing money and while he hopes the repairs are completed correctly, he say he hopes his business doesn't go belly up waiting for the repairs to be finished.
