Jacksonville, FL — Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville sent all the below information out in an email to get people involved in helping design the Courthouse plaza:
HELP US PLAN THE PLAZA!
The Duval County Courthouse Plaza project strives to transform the 3 acre lawn into a civic and artistic space for downtown Jacksonville. In the winter & spring of 2020, a stakeholder group will analyze the opportunities and costs of improvements to develop a scope of work for future artists. Through the City’s Art in Public Places Committee, a team will be commissioned to imagine the plaza as public artwork in the fall of 2020 with construction completed in 2022.
