BAKER COUNTY, Fla. — The Grinch tried and failed to steal Christmas in Baker County on Monday night.

The Baker County Sheriff’s Office arrested the infamous green man for “an attempted heist targeting Macclenny’s Christmas celebrations.”
Deputies said witnesses saw the Grinch running away with bags of stolen presents, ornaments, and even an entire roast beef.

“We’ve been monitoring the Grinch’s activities for years, and tonight, he finally crossed the line. Rest assured, Christmas is safe again, thanks to Bravo shift,” Sheriff Scotty Rhoden said.
According to the sheriff’s office, the criminal’s heart grew three sizes while in custody. He apologized and returned every gift.
Now, officials are debating whether the Grinch should get a reduced sentence or community service because of his literal change of heart.
