NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — A 38-year-old from Macon, Georgia was killed while riding a bicycle in Nassau County on Friday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a fatal crash happened at Blackrock Road and McGirts Creek Road around 10:45 p.m.
The crash report reveals a 22-year-old Yulee woman was driving an SUV north on Blackrock Road.

The bicyclist was also riding north on the same road. He was riding “to the outside of the lane near the fog line.”
FHP said the front right of the SUV hit the rear of the bicyclist.
The Georgia man was pronounced dead at the scene by Nassau Fire Rescue.
