After being closed since early March due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Florida Theatre has announced that it will be reopening at half-capacity this December.
The theatre has already lined up two events for December. These include shows by 38 Special and country artist Travis Tritt.

On a normal year, the Florida Theatre says it draws 250,000 people to downtown Jacksonville.
