First Lady visits NAS JAX

The First Lady of the United States payed a visit to Naval Air Station Jacksonville yesterday celebrating the first anniversary of her Joining Forces campaign.

The campaign aims to find jobs for the spouses of those in the military.  The First and Second Ladies are pushing private sector companies to hire 100,000 spouses of military members, and wanted to make sure that professionals like real-estate agents, teachers, nurses, and social workers can move between states and not have a problem

"Through all the moves that you've had to make, through all those difficult moments, you have stayed strong.  I have seen it," Obama said.

Michelle Obama was supposed to be joined by Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden, but she didn't end up making the trip.

Obama spoke with and met high school junior and senior girls and their parents.
