Jacksonville, Fl — For the first time this winter, temperatures fell to freezing at Jacksonville International Airport. Areas of frost are likely in many local neighborhoods, even closer to the coast on elevated surfaces.
Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says temperatures today will reach 60 degrees under sunny skies; that’s a few degrees below average. Winds have calmed down compared to Monday and Sunday.

Another inland frost or freeze is on the way Wednesday morning. Temperatures are expected to remain just above freezing in Jacksonville.
Highs tomorrow will reach the mid to upper 60s under mostly sunny skies. We will reach the lower 70s by Thursday afternoon.
Buresh is tracking another front and series of disturbances for the weekend that could bring decent rainfall.
