Jacksonville, Fl. — A local man is dead after a crash involving three cars on the Westside.

Troopers with Florida Highway Patrol say 38-year-old Johnny Cannon had crossed over the center line on Normandy Boulevard near Normandy Acres Drive. Cannon then side-swiped 46-year-old Monica Crawford.

After the first crash, Cannon collided with another car driven by 44-year-old Charles Wright.

Cannon was taken to Orange Park Medical Center where he died. Troopers say he did not have his seat belt and it is unknown at this time if alcohol was a factor.

Crawford and Wright had minor injuries.

FHP says charges are pending.
