Jacksonville, FL. — Charges are currently pending for an Orlando semi-truck driver after a deadly crash in Clay County Tuesday evening.
Florida Highway Patrol says 33-year-old Ariel Bermudez was driving the semi-truck heading south on US-301 and had stopped in the left turn lane. 20-year-old Dyllon Smith was also heading south but was traveling in the inside lane.
Troopers say Bermudez failed to yield to oncoming traffic as he moved out of the left turn lane into the path of Smith.
