There's at least three potential victims who have come forward and authorities in a Florida Panhandle county fear there might be more, including in Jacksonville.
The investigation continues into a Florida Department of Law Enforcement agent who was arrested and charged earlier this month with committing sexual acts involving three underage boys.
According to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office, Charles Calvin McMullen has lived previously in Jacksonville and investigators want to know if there are any additional victims from when he lived in the area.
Because of his status as a law enforcement officer, McMullen's age, mug shot and current address aren't available for release to the public.
"McMullen is currently on paid administrative leave," said FDLE spokeswoman Molly Best. "McMullen’s duties were mostly online and related to finding predators. Sometimes, there may be a child involved. However, any contact with a child occurs in a controlled environment with more than one person present."
McMullen was initially arrested November 1st in Santa Rosa and charged with two counts each of felony sexual assault/battery and lewd & lascivious behavior with victims under the age of 12.
He was out of the Santa Rosa County Jail on $1.5 million bond when arrested again three days later on a charge of felony lewd & lascivious behavior/molestation with a victim under 12 years of age.
McMullen is currently held on no bond in the county jail.
According to the arrest reports, McMullen was first placed in handcuffs after two 8-year-old boys told the Florida Department of Children & Families of multiple times where he forced them into various sex acts.
It was after McMullin's first arrest was publicized on social media when authorities in Santa Rosa got a similar call from the mother of the third alleged victim, saying that her son used to go to McMullin's house every day and often stayed there on weekends before McMullin moved to another address.
The actual details of the arrest reports were heavily redacted, but they do show that McMullin allegedly threatened one of the boys to not tell anyone about the sex acts or else McMullin would break up with a woman identified in the report only as Tammy.
It also shows that the first two victims were questioned by DCF at a children's home in Milton and that neither boy knew about McMullin's alleged relationship with the other.
When questioned initially by the Sheriff's Office, McMullin denied the allegations and said he never touched the first two boys sexually. McMullin was not questioned about the third boy because he had invoked his rights during the initial arrest.
A DCF investigator did note in one of the arrest reports that McMullin "began to cry" when that investigator first told him about the allegations.
Anyone in the Jacksonville area with information or who wants to file a report on McMullin is urged to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or email JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org.
