Jacksonville, FL — Heads up, parents-- the FBI Jacksonville Division is continuing it's 'Be Smart with your Kids' Smartphone' series, with an event Tuesday, October 30th at New Berlin Elementary.
As part of the event, special agents who investigate crimes against children will let parents know about the latest technology and social media apps, offenders are using to target and manipulate kids. The FBI says this will include how this technology has been used in real-life cases here in Jacksonville.
All parents are invited to attend the free event. Parents from school districts outside of Duval County are also welcome.
