JTA offering free rides to COVID-19 vaccination sites; which route goes to which site?

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Transportation Authority is helping those eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine get to and from vaccination sites with free transportation.

With the opening of Edward Waters College and Gateway COVID-19 vaccination sites, there are several ways you can get a free ride to a site.

Below are the areas JTA is serving, and the routes that are connected to each location.

For Regency Square Mall:

  • Route 10 – Atlantic.
  • Route 18 – Atlantic/Monument.
  • Route 19 – Arlington.
  • Route 23 – Townsend/Southside.
  • First Coast Flyer Red Line.
  • Route 202 – Mayport Express.
  • Arlington ReadiRide Zone.

For Gateway Town Center:

  • Route 12 – Myrtle/Lem Turner.
  • Route 21 – Boulevard.
  • Route 51 – Edgewood.
  • Northside, Northwest Core and Eastside Core ReadiRide zones.

Edward Waters College Site:

  • Route 4 – Kings.
  • Route 22 – Avenue 22.
  • Northwest Core ReadiRide Zone.

ReadiRide is JTA’s service for those looking to make a personally scheduled pickup time.

ReadiRide is available Monday – Saturday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can call 904-679-4555 to schedule a pickup.
