Child on scooter hit by car in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A child riding a scooter has been hit by a car Wednesday morning at Argyle Forest Boulevard and Old Middleburg Road. Emergency crews received the call at about 6:45 a.m. and the child’s injuries are listed as serious, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
