Deputies seek information on missing man last seen in St. Augustine

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help tracking down a Central Florida man last seen in this area six weeks ago.

43-year-old Brian White, of New Port Richey, left his mother’s home and traveled to Jacksonville around January 26, to meet with other family. Two days later, White told his mother he was heading back to her home, but he never arrived and hasn’t been heard from. We’re told there has also been no activity on his bank accounts or cell phones.

White is a recovering drug user, but we’re told it’s not usual for him to not contact family and friends for this amount of time.

Surveillance video from January 28th in a Kangaroo convenience store on Schallers Road in St. Augustine shows White arriving in a 2012 Maroon Chevrolet Equinox with a Florida Purple Heart specialty tag 30074 and yellow "I believe" sticker on the back windshield. He was with an unknown white woman and unknown white man, who are both pictured in this story.

White is described as 5’6”, 160 pounds, with multiple tattoos on his arms, legs, back, and chest. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, camo jacket, blue jeans, dark colored shoes, and a baseball cap.

If you have any information about White's location or the identity of the man and woman he was seen with, you're asked to contact SJSO Detective Jonathan Dees at 904-209-2130 or jdees@sjso.org. You can also submit an anonymous tip and be eligible for a possible reward by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS.
