Deadly crash on I-295 causing traffic delays in Jacksonville

Drivers should expect delays following a deadly crash Friday morning on I-295 South just after New Kings Road.

All southbound lanes on I-295 in that area are closed, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

The crash involved a pickup truck and a semi, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
