Jacksonville, FL — It’s a cold morning with temperatures in the 30’s inland and 40’s at the coast. A frost advisory is in effect for areas along and west of I-95 until 8 am. We’ll have plenty of sunshine today and temperatures climb to the mid-60’s this afternoon.
Sunshine continues pretty much all week with afternoon highs steadily climbing into the 70’s by Friday.
Action News Jax Meteorologist Corey Simma is tracking a weekend storm system that will bring the next best opportunity for rain. Highs will make a run at 80 degrees again on Saturday. The record for Saturday is 83 degrees in 1974.
