Clay Electric Cooperative members will be able to save a little money to close out the year.
That’s as Clay Electric says it’s lowering the cost of power for its members in November and December by 5.6%.
“Our lower power cost comes as a result of our power supplier continuing to purchase fuel at the lowest possible price. This savings will assist those in our communities when it matters most, around the holidays,” said General Manager/CEO Ricky Davis in a statement.
The exact amount of savings for each member will vary based on how much electricity they use, but the average household will save about $6.
This marks the third time this year that Clay Electric members have had a lower power bill.
