The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a man is in custody after a shooting investigation in Oakleaf Tuesday morning. The Sheriff’s Office says the man they’ve arrested is 37-year-old Brian Bolden who is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies say Bolden was at The Preserve apartment complex threatening people when some apartment workers started talking to him. Deputies say that’s when it’s believed he threatened them and pointed the gun at the workers and fired between 5-10 shots. No one was injured. The Sheriff's Office says he then went back, to what they believe, is his apartment and barricaded himself inside.
Deputies say they evacuated several building at the at the complex during their investigation.
