Jacksonville, Fl — Update 11:30am
Clay County Sheriff Michelle Cook says a SWAT standoff ended about 11:00 a.m. Friday with no one injured.
Deputies arrived on scene about 7:00a.m. and heard shots. The SWAT team was called in, and residents were evacuated for several hours.
The sheriff says residents should be able to return to their homes around noon.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team is on scene of a home in the Doctors Lake area this morning. It is not related to last night’s AMBER Alert and the ongoing search for a suspect who abducted his 8-month-old baby.
Sheriff Michelle Cook tells Jacksonville’s Morning News that residents in the Forest Glen community called early this morning about shots being fired by a man.

SWAT and hostage negotiators arrived on scene and are negotiating his safe surrender. The sheriff believes the man is alone inside the house.
Surrounding neighbors have been evacuated voluntarily and have relocated to St. Johns River State College.
No injuries have been reported.
