WOKV's consumer warrior Clark Howard says Congress and the White House need to reach a deal on the the approaching fiscal cliff.
"I think that both parties realize that the voters want action now," he said.
If not, he says the United States will definitely fall into another recession, something he calls “pure ugliness.”
“There’s no gray to that.”
If that happens, he says the country will see much more unemployment and big cuts in military spending.
But Howard expects Democrats and Republicans to work out a deal.
“You know in the exit polling, over and over again, the public stated pretty clearly they want everybody to play well in the sandbox.”
You can hear Clark Howard weeknights on WOKV from 9 to 11 p.m.
