Clara White Mission Feeds More Than 2221 People

Helping families in need, the Clara White Mission in Jacksonville has donated food to more than 2,221 people through its Random Acts of Kindness food distribution events. Today’s food giveaway was a partnership with Tyson Meat and Premier Meat and Seafood. This is part of their efforts to combat food scarcity issues in Jacksonville.

The pop-your-trunk drive-thru was available for families to receive meat, fresh produce and nonperishables that can feed a family of 4. This food giveaway will continue twice a month thru June.

Community members are asked to volunteer to help expand the services offered through the mission’s feeding program. Volunteer inquiries can be submitted through www.clarawhitemission.org.
