City of Jacksonville launches website to keep residents informed about coronavirus

Jacksonville, FL — With a third presumptive case of the coronavirus reported in Florida, the City of Jacksonville is taking action to keep residents informed.

The city's Emergency Preparedness Division has launched a website as a go-to resource for Duval County residents when it comes to the coronavirus and any impacts to the Jacksonville-area.

"The health and safety of Jacksonville citizens is my top priority. As we address the potential impacts of coronavirus on our community, it is important that citizens receive timely and accurate information to ensure they are prepared. This webpage will contain important updates and information from our emergency management team; local, state and federal partners; and other key stakeholders that we have been working with since late January," says Mayor Lenny Curry in statement.
