Why did you decide to run for office: I have had an interest in public policy for over 30 years. I waited to run until I reached a point in my life where I could devote the time and energy.

What is the biggest problem facing Jacksonville as a city overall, and how specifically would you seek to address that: Public Safety. I would use the three-tier approach of enforcement, prevention, and intervention. I would seek new technological methods for solving this issue.

What makes your constituents unique, and how would that influence your time in office: My constituents are the entire city.

What would be your main budget priority for the upcoming fiscal year: Public Safety

How do you define what you hope Jacksonville will be ten years from now: A safe environment where one can find a good paying job.
