Jacksonville, Fl — Three people are dead in a shooting early this morning on Jacksonville’s northside. Officers were called to the Calloway Cove Apartments around 2:20 am.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office gang unit was conducting an investigation on W. Moncrief Road when they heard gunshots in the area. A vehicle that was fleeing the apartments was found to be stolen out of Clay County.
Officers were able to stop the car and arrested multiple people. Several firearms were recovered from the car.
Two men and one woman were found dead at the apartment complex. JSO says it is in the early stage of its investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact JSO at 630-0500 or Crimestoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
