Bond denied for fifth suspect in murder of local rapper Julio Foolio

TAMPA, Fla. — On Thursday, a Tampa judge denied bond for Davion Murphy, the fifth suspect in the murder of Julio Foolio.

Murphy was arrested in Jacksonville on Jan. 6 in connection to the Tampa shooting death of rapper Charles Jones.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the arrest happened at an apartment on Labelle Street after a team effort by the SWAT unit, Gang Unit, and the U.S. Marshals Service.

Four other arrests have previously been made: 21-year-old Isaiah Chance, 21-year-old Alicia Andrews, 18-year-old Sean Gathright, and 30-year-old Rashad Murphy.
