Jacksonville, FL — Blake Bortles says it turned fast. The former Jaguars QB says he knew from prior benchings that his days would be numbered if he didn’t perform at a high level. Bortles sat down with Action Sports Jax Brent Martineau over the weekend in Oviedo, where Bortles hosted an event with his foundation.
“I’ll be able to look back 10, 12 years down the road and say that helped develop me as a person and a player”, Bortles said during a wide-ranging interview about the highs and lows as the Jaguars signal-caller.
Bortles also talked about his future in the NFL, as a backup QB with the LA Rams, a team that is coming off a Super Bowl appearance.
