UPDATE: Missing Atlantic Beach man found safe

ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. — UPDATE: Michael Sermons has been found safe, Atlantic Beach police said.

Atlantic Beach police are looking for a man who has Alzheimer’s and was last seen early Friday. According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, Michael Sermons, 73, was last seen in the 2000 block of Beach Avenue at 2:30 a.m.

He may be traveling in a black 4-door Nissan Frontier pickup truck with Virginia tag #WSK9670. Sermons is described as 6 feet tall, 185 pounds, with snow white hair.

Any one with information on his whereabouts should call the police department immediately.
