Jacksonville, FL — It's quite the bust.
The Nassau County Sheriff's Office is releasing the results of 'Operation Spring Cleaning,' which focused on tracking down and arresting those manufacturing, delivering, or trafficking controlled substances.
Deputies say the operation ended with 57 people arrested for trafficking in controlled substances, 1 arrest for unlawful possession of a firearm when arrested for trafficking/sale and delivery, and 29 arrests for outstanding warrants when a person was arrested for trafficking/safe and delivery.
In addition, 280 grams of controlled substances and 5 firearms were seized as part of the operation.
'Operation Spring Cleaning' was a strategic initiative carried out in 27 Florida counties.
