JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The American Lung Association is encouraging everyone to skip the elevator on Wednesday for National Take the Stairs Day.
It’s a day to promote healthy activity, and the organization wants everyone to register for their local Fight For Air Climb.

It’s an annual fundraiser for the American Lung Association and the one in Jacksonville is happening Saturday, March 22.
Participants, including firefighters in rescue gear, will climb the Bank of America Tower in downtown Jacksonville.
