Jacksonville's Animal Care and Protective Services

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The City of Jacksonville’s Animal Care and Protective Services is over capacity and needs the community’s help.

According to a news release, ACPS recently received an influx of animals. It’s now 60 dogs over its recommended capacity.

Employees are working overtime to care for nearly 360 dogs.

ACPS is waiving adoption fees during February.
