JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — An 18-year-old woman has been arrested for the second degree murder of a 20-year-old man back in September.

The Jacksonville Beach Police Department said that Samantha Allison Weiner hired two people to rob her ex-boyfriend’s house following their breakup. Weiner provided the robbers with information on the house, entry points, and items to be taken.

Around 1:16 a.m. on September 21, officers were dispatched to a reported burglary in progress with shots fired in the 1200 block of Penman Road North. One of the robbers, 20-year-old Ezekiel Trey Archulata, was shot and killed by the homeowner.

Following an investigation, the homeowner told police that Weiner has asked several people to rob him in retaliation.

The Jacksonville Beach Police and the St. John’s Sheriff’s Office worked together to serve an arrest warrant on Weiner on Wednesday. She was later arrested and is in St. John’s County Jail. She is being charged with Second Degree Felony Murder and Solicitation to Commit Robbery.

Her current bond is listed as $550,006.
