Jacksonville, Fl — A 16-year-old has been arrested for murder and robbery following a shooting Thursday morning near Westside High School.
Jacksonville police were called around 7:40 am to Firestone Road and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He has been identified as 31-year-old Carlos Alberto Nieves Rivera.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue pronounced the victim dead. Due to the officer’s quick response and available witnesses, a suspect was identified and arrested.
